Ealing Home Start Easter Activities

Ealing Broadway was bursting with Easter cheer as we welcomed our charity partner, Home-Start Ealing, for a day of egg-cellent activities, family fun, and fundraising for a fantastic cause!

The centre came alive with colour, creativity, and community spirit as families joined in a variety of Easter-themed crafts and games organised by the amazing Home-Start Ealing team. It was a day designed especially for little ones and their families to enjoy together and it did not disappoint!

One of the highlights of the day was seeing the incredible imagination and creativity of the children who took part in the Easter crafting sessions. Their handmade Easter baskets were nothing short of brilliant, bursting with colour, personality, and springtime joy. It was heartwarming to see families crafting together and making memories they’ll treasure for years to come.

Adding to the excitement was the Easter Egg Hunt around Ealing Broadway! Children eagerly explored the centre to find all six hidden Easter eggs, and once completed, they were rewarded with a delicious Easter egg prize. The smiles said it all! The Home-Start Ealing team would like to send a huge thank you goes to Tesco and Marks & Spencer in Ealing Broadway, who generously donated a fantastic selection of chocolate eggs for the prizes. Their contribution helped make the experience even more special for everyone involved.

And let’s not forget the much-anticipated Easter Character Naming Competition, which got everyone thinking and giggling with imaginative suggestions. We were honoured to welcome The Mayor of Ealing, who joined the Home-Start Ealing team to support the event and personally select the winning name! Her presence brought even more joy to the day and reinforced the importance of supporting local families.

As our official charity partner, Home-Start Ealing plays a vital role in supporting families through challenging times, and it was wonderful to see the community come together to raise both awareness and funds for the incredible work they do.

A heartfelt thank you to the brilliant team at Home-Start Ealing, the Mayor of Ealing, Tesco and Marks & Spencer Ealing Broadway, and of course, all the wonderful families who came along. Your creativity, kindness, and community spirit made this Easter one to remember.

We’re already looking forward to more joyful moments like this at Ealing Broadway with the Home-Start team.
