Ealing has heart

Here at Ealing Broadway we work with local charities Ealing Mencap, The Soup Kitchen, The Log Cabin and the Rainbow Trust.

Throughout the year, several awareness and money raising events take place in the centre. This is a great opportunity for our customers -and our staff to get involved in the community’s charitable foundations.

We also work closely with universities, the centre having recently appointed a student ambassador from the University of West London. We felt it was important that the centre had a direct point of communication with its student population, beginning an efficient and friendly two-way conversation.

As well as this, Ealing Broadway will soon take part in the SMILE scheme, which will be held in the centre on behalf of the local children’s charity The Log Cabin. The aim of this project is to teach children with learning difficulties important life skills, such as shopping, and to teach them how to interact with the public in social spaces. Being at the centre of the local community, we are delighted to be able to host this event – an opportunity to become more accessible to our neighbourhood.
